| Description |
Dateline: 1981. With the United States economy mired
in a recession and the Chrysler Company struggling to stay afloat, New
CEO Lee Iacocca appeared in television commercials for the Company's new
"K-Car" line. He challenged the car buying public with what would
become his trademark phrase: "If you can find a better car, buy it." The
timing was right for the small, efficient and economical K-Car and they
sold extremely well. This success, along with that of the Town and
Country minivan effectively saved Chrysler. We're proud to present this
1985 example of the Town and Country Woody Wagon! With only 38,336
actual miles on the clock, it doesn't look much different than it did
when it rolled off the assembly line. The turbocharged 2.2 liter engine
runs great and has no problem propelling this little wagon with urgency.
The original interior is in good condition, as is the body and black
paint. This quiet, comfortable car features air conditioning, power
steering, power disc brakes, power windows and locks and an AM/FM stereo
cassette player. To borrow a line for Mr. Iacocca: If you can find a
better '85 Town and Country wagon, buy it.
